Our goal was to understand the burden of myotonia in patients with non-dystrophic myotonia (NDM) on the quality of life of patients and caregivers. By then, there was very little research done on this rare and underserved patient population. admedicum had supported us before using a mixed-method survey for myotonia patients (MYOPATH) and helped us to further raise awareness on the importance of understanding patient burden through an international online survey (IMPACT), co-creating a value for the community together with patient experts and medical experts.

We published and presented the outcomes of this research in collaboration with admedicum. It was a partnership of outstanding quality throughout accompanied by a passion to serve the patient community and striving for innovation and creative ways of finding solutions together!”
