Istruzione
Vera ha conseguito la laurea in Sanità pubblica europea (B.Sc., 2012) e il master in Ricerca sui servizi sanitari (M.Sc., 2014) presso l'Università di Maastricht. Sia la sua tesi di master che il suo dottorato di ricerca presso l'Università di Colonia hanno affrontato vari aspetti del coinvolgimento dei pazienti nel processo decisionale medico. Ha studiato le decisioni sanitarie individuali e di popolazione con particolare attenzione all'analisi delle preferenze dei pazienti.
