Passionate innovator and engineer, Razak held consulting, presales manager and product manager positions for 15 years within CAST, a software startup, working across Europe and the US.
In 2012, Razak joined the French government, first as an advisor to the Minister for women’s rights and government spokeswoman and later as an advisor to the Minister for Education, Higher Education, and Research.
In charge of innovation and communication, Razak managed several digital projects related to women’s health, youth’s engagement, participative democracy, and social innovation.
Beginning of 2018, Razak brought his experience to the Greater Paris University Hospitals (AP-HP) with the specific mission to increase patient engagement in medical research.
Working closely with patient organizations, researchers, and media, he has been instrumental in building one of the largest real-world evidence platform and patient participation community. During his tenure, 40,000 patients joined the “Communauté de Patients pour la Recherche” to participate in medical research on their chronic diseases thru patient-reported outcomes.
Building from his experience, Razak is convinced of the power of collective intelligence and of the unique ability of patients to contribute to the future of healthcare. He joined admedicum to help both patient organizations and the industry build together better, higher and more sustainable value.
